I recently shot the latest collection from Métaphores Paris, Belle Étoile, conceived by collection director Émilie Paralitici. Inspired by space, stars, and the moon, the collection explores the dialogue between sky and matter, transforming celestial phenomena into tactile expression.
With Belle Étoile, Métaphores invites us to look upward, toward cloud beds, auroras, magnetic storms, and stardust, each fabric capturing a fragment of the cosmos and anchoring it in material form. The collection balances poetic softness with a more assertive, neo-futuristic language, where dense textures and structured compositions subtly reference space exploration. The silhouettes and compositions were elevated by the sensitive and precise styling of Sarah de Beaumont.
Shot in the Spanish desert under the art direction of Thibaut Matthieu and Jessica Martinato from Cake Design, the project found a striking, otherworldly setting that echoed the collection’s cosmic narrative. I am delighted to share a selection of images from this shoot with you.
